Turnip greens dumplings with garlic

  • 250 g turnip green
  • 250 g potato
  • 2 garlic clove
  • flour
  • olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Step by step instructions

  • Cook whole potatoes and turnip tops in salted water
  • Drain the grelos well and chop very small.
  • Pass the potatoes through the potato masher to form a very thick purée.
  • Mix the turnip greens well with this puree. If it is too thick, add a little of the broth to cook the turnip tops. Let cool.
  • With the help of a spoon, form balls with the pasta, flour them lightly and brown them in oil.
  • Drain and place in an earthenware dish or on the plate or platter in which they are going to be served.
  • In the same oil brown the filleted garlic and pour over the meatballs. Serve hot.
