Bonito with tomato

Very easy recipe of bonito with tomato. The texture of the sauce depends on how finely the tomatoes are chopped. I like a little thick but everyone can do it to taste.

Ingredients

Servings 2 servings


  • 400 g bonito in slices
  • 1 onion medium
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 800 g tomato chopped
  • 1 splash white wine
  • olive oil
  • salt

Step by step instructions

  • In a pot with the bottom covered in olive oil seal the bonito on both sides, remove and reserve.
  • In the same oil brown the finely chopped onion and garlic.
  • Then add the tomatoes, peeled and cut into small cubes, season. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Halfway through the cooking time add a splash of white wine.
  • Finally add the bonito and cook 1 minute on each side.
