Very easy recipe for bonito with tomato. The texture of the sauce depends on how finely the tomatoes are chopped. I like a little thick but everyone can do it to taste.

  • 400 g albacore sliced
  • 1 onion medium
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 800 g tomato chopped
  • 1 trickle white wine
  • olive oil
  • salt

Step by step instructions

  • In a pot with the bottom covered in oil, mark the albacore on both sides, remove and reserve.
  • In the same oil, brown the onion and the finely chopped garlic.
  • Then add the peeled and diced tomatoes, season. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Halfway through the cooking time, add a splash of white wine.
  • Finally add the bonito (albacore) and cook 1 minute on each side.
