Flowers of Carnival

Ingredients

  • 150 g flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cda anisette
  • 1 cdta salt
  • sunflower oil for frying

Instructions

  • Put all the ingredients, except for the oil, into a bowl and whisk until the batter is smooth.
  • Heat up plenty of sunflower oil and place the mold into it.
  • Once the mold is hot, put it into the batter, but not completely so the flower can come off.
  • Put the mold with the batter into the oil and wait until the flower comes off.
  • When the flower is gold on each side put it on a sheet of absorbent paper.
  • Sprinkle with sugar
  • Repeat for each flower.
