Boiled spider crab

Ingredients

  • 2 spider crab medium
  • coarse salt
  • 2 leaves bay

Instructions

  • Pour plenty of water into a big pot. Add 2 laurel leaves and 2 or 3 tablespoons of sea salt and bring to a boil.
  • If the spider crab is alive, place it into the pot while the water is cold so it doesn’t drop the legs. If it is dead place it when the water is boiling and begin to count the time when the water starts to boil again.
  • Once the water is boiling, let cook for around 10 to 15 minutes (it depends on the size of the spider crab)
  • Drain and let cool to room temperature.
  • Open, clean and serve cut into pieces
