The white beans with ham and tomato are a very simple recipe, especially if we use cooked beans. The beans are known as fabas (in Galician) and habas, judías blancas, habichuelas (in Spanish). In Galicia we usually use the term “fabas” and the “Fabas de Lourenzá” that have Protected Geographical Indication are famous. With them I have made this recipe.
As we said, the recipe is very simple if we do not have to cook the beans. Then, the most complicated thing would be to make the tomato sauce. So, make these White beans with ham and tomato, they’re great!
