30 years ago, on my only trip to Greece, there were two things, gastronomically, that I loved: the Tzatziki and the pita bread. I like pita bread more, which is not like Arabic that opens and can be filled. I leave it for another recipe.

30 years ago, on my only trip to Greece, there were two things, gastronomically, that I loved: the Tzatziki and the pita bread. I like pita bread more, which is not like Arabic that opens and can be filled. I leave it for another recipe.I brought a Greek cookbook (they have it in all the languages you can imagine) and today I present the Tzatziki. It is a Greek yogurt salad with cucumber, garlic, and vinegar. It is like a sauce but the Greeks (in my Greek cookbook) classify it as a saladHere I accompany the Tzatziki with Mariñeiras cookies that are great.
