A recipe for pan-roasted chestnuts on the induction cooker.
There are some special frying pans with holes but they are designed for roasting chestnuts on gas stoves. Thus the chestnuts can be in direct contact with the fire.
In this case they are not necessary as there is no fire and they are just as delicious. The ideal would be to roast them in a bonfire, or fireplace if we do them indoors.
But the best thing would be to have a cart with charcoal embers like those that are on the streets from October to December. Those are delicious.

Step by step instructions

  • Before roasting the chestnuts we must make a cut in the shell so that they do not burst with the heat.
  • In an old skillet, put on the stove and roast for 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the chestnuts.
