Ingredients

  • 200 g macaroni
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • 1 tbsp maizena
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 300 ml milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil

Step by step instructions

  • Cook the macaroni in plenty of salted water and a drizzle of oil until al dente. Drain and reserve
  • Meanwhile, make the sauce. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the maizena, stirring until well combined.
  • Add the milk little by little and stirring constantly until it thickens a little.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add half of the grated cheese and wait until it is completely melted.
  • Mix the macaroni with this sauce and put in a baking dish.
  • Cover with the rest of the grated cheese.
  • Gratin until the cheese is golden and melted.
